How I approach the work
Some businesses need a smart website. Others need an entire system.
I build focused public websites and larger private platforms for managing staff, jobs, documents and customers. The technology changes with the project, while the aim stays the same: make something clear, dependable and genuinely useful.

Frequently asked questions
Useful answers before you get in touch.
If your question is not covered, send over the rough outline and I will give you a straightforward answer.
Ask about a project01What kinds of web projects do you take on?
I design and build bespoke business websites, editable CMS websites, ecommerce stores and private web applications. I also provide hosting, maintenance and continued development for those projects after launch.
02How much does a new website cost?
The cost depends on the number of pages, content, design requirements and any integrations. A focused small business website and a bespoke web application are very different projects. Share the rough requirement and budget range, and I will explain what is realistic.
03Do you build websites from templates?
No. Each website is planned and built around the business, its content and the people who will use it. The result can be a focused static site, an editable CMS website or a larger bespoke build.
04Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes, when regular editing is useful. I can build the site with a CMS such as Sanity so pages, services and case studies can be managed without changing code. Simpler sites can remain static when that is the better fit.
05Do you provide hosting and website support?
Yes. For websites and applications I have built, ongoing support can include hosting, maintenance, software updates, fixes, content changes and new features after launch.
06What do you need before I enquire?
A rough description is enough. Useful details include what the business does, what the new website or application needs to achieve, any essential features, the intended timescale and a budget range if one is available.
